Comments:
Complete contrast from the previous Chicago
show where they played the fewest 70s tunes
on the tour to this date where 70s songs record
their highest percentage of the set
(for this tour, 53%).
Of the three recorded changes
(from the previous set), all new additions
were 70s recorded songs "Seasons Of Wither"
(first play on this tour), "Nobody's Fault" and
"Train Kept A Rollin'"
(replacing three late 80s tunes). The version of Train was similar to that they used to do in the early 70s where it would start on a slow Blues tempo and speed up.
It was the first rest on this tour of both "Love In An Elevator" and "What It Takes" so now just five songs that have been ever present across all dates of this tour. "What It Takes" had been played in 74 consecutive tour shows ("Elevator" 62).
First date of tour (and most likely of any tour set since October 1989) not to have any songs from the "Pump" album.

Comments:
Second of two sold out nights playing to their
home fans.Return of "Let The Music Do The
Talking" as opener after 9 shows using
"Mama Kin". Rare to see "Mama Kin"
close a show
(i.e. done occasionally during 1973)
Rested for the show were both the
"Get Your Wings" album tunes.
First tour play and very rare performance of
"Adam's Apple" - the sixth tune to be played
off the "Toys In The Attic". It's almost 20
years since the tune has been knowingly
played in full  -  January 11th, 1985 (Merrilville, IN).
In the last 5 years it was played in part as a medley
into Last Child on January 17, 1998. Tom Hamilton
reported it was soundchecked during the Nine Lives
tour on December 9, 1998 and he also said more
recently that they had played the number during
this tours rehearsals in late July 2003.

From the previous set with three "Pump"
numbers, it drops to one as "Janie's Got A Gun"
and "What It Takes" are rested.
With current tour (to date) closed out more
sets with "Sweet Emotion"
than any other number
(was tied with "Toys In The Attic").

Comments:
Three tunes rotated and first tour plays of
"Make It" and "Milk Cow Blues", which brings
the number of different tunes played on this
tour to 40.
In the past 10 years, "Make It" has only made
three appearances opening club sets at Mama
Kins Music Hall during 1995-1998. After 1973 ,
it made fleeting appearances over tours in
1970s up to 1978 where it is reported in a
setlist from December 1978. "Make It" was
tour opener during late 1973 when they
supported "Mott The Hoople"
(debut album tour) and follows "S.O.S.
(Too Bad)" (1974, "Get Your Wings Tour")
and "Mama Kin" ((1976/1977, "Rocks" Tour)
in being resurrected as a set opener after a
passage of 25+ years.  To date, "Make It"
(only the third tune to be played off the first album) is the fifth different tour opener.
"Milk Cow Blues" was last played almost 15 months ago at Hartford, CT
